Sow Mid/Late Summer for Autumn-Winter Harvest

Late Summer is a busy time of the season! In addition to harvesting, we are sowing and transplanting autumn/winter crops before the weather cools and the daylight fades.

Here are vegetables and herbs to sow now for harvest autumn through winter. While the quick greens like bok choy, coriander and gem lettuce can be sown through April, many of the below need to reach maturity before the days are shorter then 10 hours and frost settles in - if you live in Southern Victoria and would like to harvest carrots all Winter, do not delay!
