By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information provided below, including our seed-saving and commercial-use requests, shipping conditions and returns policy.

Can we save seeds from these varieties?

We have based our seed and breeding work on the following values:

We embrace the generous nature of seeds.

Saving your own seed to grow again next season is truly one of the wonders of gardening, and sharing what you love with others is a gift of connection. Seeds build communities!

For home gardeners, yes — please save your own seed and enjoy growing these varieties again next season.

Can I sell seed or plants grown from saved seed, or use these varieties in my own breeding work?

If you would like to sell seed you have saved, sell plants grown from saved seed, or use these varieties in your own breeding projects, including selecting from them and releasing or renaming subsequent generations, we would love to hear from you first.

We believe that the commercial use of newly released varieties, and further breeding work with them, should be guided by the same values that underpin our breeding:

Intention, respect, permission, transparency and open conversation.

We welcome the opportunity to hear about your plans and discuss how these varieties might contribute to your own work.

Shipping seeds

We aim to begin dispatching seed packets within one business day of purchase, in the order that orders are received.

Please check that the shipping address you enter is complete and correct. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or delivery issues arising from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at checkout.

Please note: Multiple orders
Our system does not currently allow us to combine multiple orders. Due to the volume of orders expected during this zinnia seed release, we are also unable to manually combine orders.

Please keep this in mind when ordering — each time you check out, postage will be charged.

Orders with international or freight forwarding addresses

Transition Farm ships within Australia only. We do not ship internationally nor to freight-forwarding addresses.

Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

If an order is placed to a destination we do not deliver to, we will contact you to arrange cancellation before issuing a refund*. 

Any applicable cancellation or administrative charges will be communicated to you before they are applied.

Returns and refunds

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Please note: We are unable to respond to customer-service enquiries through social media. Email is the best way to reach us.

Purchase Limits

THE ONE-PACKET-PER-VARIETY-PER-HOUSEHOLD LIMIT APPLIES.

If you have already purchased one packet of a variety, you will need to wait until 8pm, when the purchasing limits are removed, to purchase any additional packets of that variety.

To ensure these seeds are shared fairly, we kindly ask that you respect the purchasing limit. If multiple orders are placed in an attempt to circumvent this limit, all associated orders, including the first order placed, may be cancelled.

Discount Codes

All discount codes will be suspended during the sale of Transition Farm developed zinnia seeds.
