  • Excellent flavour
  • 12.5 - 15cm fruit
  • Long season producer

Silver Slicer is a never bitter, thin skinned, 15-20cm cucumber with an excellent flavour profile- juicy, crisp, light green flesh and tender, non-bitter white skin. With a high resistance to powdery mildew, expect an abundant harvest late into the season of this superior flavoured cucumber.

A refined heirloom from the breeders at Cornell University, Silver Slicer incorporates all of the good features of heirloom Boothby’s Blonde- superior flavour and thin, white skin - with disease resistance to powdery mildew.

‘Silver Slicer’ is a licensed variety, and every seed you purchase helps support public plant breeding and research at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Seeds from this variety can’t be reproduced with the intent to sell, nor can the variety be used in breeding projects without an approved license.
