Calendula officinalis
- Beautiful soft palate
- Fastest flowers to bloom from seed
- Loved by beneficial insects
‘Bronze Beauty’ is a versatile soft peachy-cream calendula with a reverse cranberry stripe and a chocolate brown eye. The soft palate is perfect for those wishing to incorporate calendulas into their garden but preferring a pastel shade. Cup shaped flower heads are smaller than most calendula varieties yet borne on tall stems, making them perfect for arrangements. Calendulas are the fastest flowers to bloom from seeds - in just 2 months. Often called English marigolds or pot marigolds, the plants are loved by beneficial insects. Petals can be used as fabric dye, are edible and are used medicinally as salves.
