Easy to grow, eucalyptus grey green feathery foliage with apple blossom pink buds which open to reveal silky single and double blooms that are cream with pink stripes. 'Thai Silk' is a stunning range of California poppies. The petals look like silk fabric and the richly coloured stripes soften with age from deep pink to soft pink, creamy petals surrounding a soft yellow pollen centre - the whole look is quite sophisticated. Profuse bloomer throughout the late spring, summer and autumn. Drought tolerant, attractive to pollinators and perfect for cutting.

Although each bloom does not have a long vase life, buds continue to open and we love how they change with blooms at different stages and colours. The wedding dress like texture and colour is delicate and sophisticated for special occasions.

Well suited to the front border of a garden bed. We cut the plants to the ground and they regrow and bloom again!
