Juicy, sweet, attractive fruit that won our taste test compared with other hybrid and traditional OP Italian varieties. Smooth-skinned fruits with thick walls and a rich red colour, Stocky Red Roaster is by far the easiest capsicums to fire roast and peel. 150 - 185mm fruits that are tapered to a point.

The large, upright habit plants with upright habit are covered in fruit and produce for a long season. We have been selectively saving the seeds of this Frank Morton bred variety for the past three seasons choosing the larger fruit size to more closely match the Lively Italian capsicums, earliest ripening and plants that produce a large amount of fruit with no added inputs.
