Dahlia 'Boundary Sophie'

Dahlia pinnata

• Bloom Size - 100-120mm
• Bloom Type - Formal Decorative
• Bloom Time - Mid Season
• Plant Height - 100-120cm

Mauve-pink to dusty rose blooms, with delicate lilac-toned petal undersides and a soft golden glow radiating from the throat, give Boundary Sophie its beautiful luminosity.

The incurved petals reveal warm yellow tones before unfurling into shades of soft peach, gradually maturing to deeper pink. With a wonderful upward facing head attachment and this changing interplay of colour that creates a beautiful sense of movement,  Boundary Sophie is very versatile in floral arrangements.

Prolific flowering, strong plants, long stems and good head attachment and placement make Boundary Sophie an excellent addition to the cutting garden and the vase.

Dahlias with the Boundary prefix have been bred by the late Bruce Millard of Boundary Dahlias, Hamilton, Victoria.
