A gorgeous pastel orange with hints of fuchsia and yellow, and a deeper centre which, for me, makes her worthy of her namesake.

Angostura is one of those blooms that surprised me with how easily she accompanies so many different colour palettes. From brights to autumn hues, or simply adding a splash of orange to a pastel yellow and white bouquet, she seems to fit in effortlessly.

This very prolific bloomer quickly earned her place in our cutting dahlia range. I love summer afternoons with zesty lime ice cubes floating in bubbly water with a dash of Angostura almost as much as I love this variety!

Dahlias with the Florelie prefix have been bred by Lorelie Merton on Florelie, a specialty cut flower farm located in Bungaree, Victoria. In recognition of the years of dedication involved in developing beautiful cultivars, a royalty payment is made to Lorelie and the Florelie Farm with every tuber sold.
