Pure white and luminous, Florelie Nimbus is quite fluffy even with its delicately pointed petal tips. Her glowing centre gives the flowers a lovely presence, particularly when gathered with other whites.

We loved growing her for our designer whites buckets, where her larger blooms added shape and presence without introducing another colour. She also combines beautifully with other white dahlias, allowing subtle differences in form, texture and centre colour to create depth within an all-white bouquet.

Dahlias with the Florelie prefix have been bred by Lorelie Merton on Florelie, a specialty cut flower farm located in Bungaree, Victoria. In recognition of the years of dedication involved in developing beautiful cultivars, a royalty payment is made to Lorelie and the Florelie Farm with every tuber sold.
