A large framed butter lettuce with a snap to the leaves making it not only great in salad but also a tasty addition to a burger. Productive, disease resistant, and a market grower favourite.

This Canadian heirloom was brought back from the verge of commercial extinction by Frank Morton at Wild Garden Seed. In our chef taste tests ‘Carmona’ won 5 out of 5 for appearance, texture and flavour with salt!

A wonderful lettuce thriving in Spring, Early Summer and Mid Autumn.

In our on farm trials, it has held well in the field in both heat and wet conditions.
