Lettuce 'Joker'

Thick, crisp leaves with bold red splashes and large toothed margins fold in to form a tight head. Terrific flavour – juicy with a well-balanced mineral overtone. Described as a sweet ‘Castlefranco’ by chefs.

An all-season lettuce with excellent heat and cold resistance – even withstanding frosts without protection! We did find that the heads formed much better before mid January and after late February.
