A more compact and refined crisphead with dark red blush and red splashes that blanch a tightly folded whorl of a head. Chefs LOVED this lettuce for her flavour, “sweet, crunchy, with mineral undertones that are delightful”, unique appearance, ease of washing and the way the leaves hold the dressing. This Frank Morton introduction has great downy mildew resistance even under strong disease pressure. Unique shade of red as a baby leaf.
