Very cold-hardy, versatile green forms attractive rosettes of glossy leaves. Survives mild winters and an excellent hoophouse crop in harsher winters, tolerating cool, moist conditions and downy mildew. Also known as lambs lettuce and corn salad.

Mâche is the French name for corn salad - also known as rupunzel!
