Sweet Pea 'Erewhon'

Lathyrus odoratus

An unusual lavender/mauve reverse bicolour, where the standard petal is paler then the wing petals. 'Erewhon' demonstrates the greatest contrast. Great for cutting with strong, tall stems. A vase full looks almost like butterflies in flight. This semi-grandiflora took Dr Keith Hammett 30 years to develop.

Semi-grandiflora varieties combine the stability and fragrance of the “old-fashioned” varieties, with the Spencer longer stems and larger flowers. ‘Erewhon’ requires 12 hours of sunlight to initiate flowering.
