Small seed cavity and rich flavoured red flesh. Makes excellent sauces, passata and roasts extremely well. Performs best in warm seasons.

Our stock seed began with seeds from High Mowing Seeds. Given to Tom Sterns by Mel Bristol of Sherman, CT, ‘Gilbertie Paste’ was one of the originals offered in his first catalog in 1996.

We have been growing it every season since 2005. Our FAVOURITE paste and canning tomato!
